Been meaning to ask: Why "Stravinsky"?
Hey ac! happy new year :) Why stravinsky?
well during my first year of college, an economics prof got me so obsessed with Igor Stravinsky's music, used to base all his examples in-class on Stravinsky, so much that i switched to a combination of orchestral techno fused with the classics.
it was Stravinsky everywhere i went, strav for short :P, roomies, some campus community folks, some family and friends called me that for my "extraordinary" tastes in music.. but when i came upon Torley Wong (www.torley.com), i figured i wasn't the only one out there.. but anyways.. strav stuck to some extent :)
